  I finally set up my new telescope last night and shot this… I was standing on a rickety-ass fire escape and the telescopes tracking was not engaged so its a bit fuzzy, but it is my first attempt… Shot with Canon 50D mounted to a meade DS-2000 series reflecting telescope. D=114mm F=1000mm f/8.8 ISO=1000 shutter=1/100
